Butterfly lodge is a family run business which has been running for more than 30 years. Butterfly lodge is a friendly hotel situated in a quiet location where you can relax and unwind. Whether your stay be long or short, we offer all our guests a friendly service in a comfortable atmosphere. Butterfly lodge consists of four villas each with its own style, full of charm and character set in an attractive garden, where visitors can relax and enjoy the evenings with a beautiful sunset and uninterrupted views of the mountains.
Butterfly Lodge proudly support Butterfly Foundation: Butterfly Foundation has been established to help address the basic need problems of the deprived, lowest caste and income families of the district, founded by Mr. Govinda Pahari, officially since 2003, but with involvement in projects in social work reaching back over the past 20 years. He is also the proprietor of The Butterfly Lodge, serving the tourism industry for more than 30 years, with the profit from the lodge helping to support the works of the foundation.
Playing an active positive role in the community, serving on many local communities along with being chairperson for the local branch of "The Red Cross" he is well respected and trusted individual, both within Nepal and in the European community.
Mr. Govinda Pahari envisions using "The Butterfly Foundation" to help ease the situation of the poor, underpriviledged lowest caste children and families of Pokhara and the surrounding districts, helping at the grass root level in childcare centers, ensuring the education of the future generation in Nepal.
Butterfly Foundation Nepal is a non-profit, non-governmenal, non-religious organisation. This organisation is run completely for the humanitarian cause, with all persons involved, giving their time freely, ensuring the maximum benifits for the childrens from the funds raised.
